About ULTIMATE Valencia City Guide

ULTIMATE Valencia City Guide is an independent guide for visitors to Valencia, Spain. We publish 14 curated lists: restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels, sights, art & culture, parks & beaches, walks, shopping, health, real estate, developments, motoring and getting around. We cover Ciutat Vella and El Carmen, the Eixample and Ruzafa, the City of Arts and Sciences, the Turia Garden, El Cabanyal and Malvarrosa and La Marina, with day trips to the Albufera and El Palmar, Sagunto, Xàtiva, Dénia and Jávea, and Requena.

Our editor

How we choose

Every place in our lists has been checked against its own website or an official source such as visitvalencia.com (Visit València), cac.es, UNESCO, the Generalitat Valenciana, Metrovalencia, Renfe, Aena, Baleària, Trasmed or The MICHELIN Guide. MICHELIN stars are quoted only from the 2026 guide. We use no ratings, and we leave out anything we can’t confirm.
