The Eixample is the 19th- and early-20th-century extension south of the old town, with Calle Colón, the Mercado de Colón and wide streets of apartment buildings. Ruzafa, to its west, is the neighbourhood for cafés, galleries and many of the city’s newer restaurants.
Colón
The Mercado de Colón and the shopping streets around Colón, Sorní and Jorge Juan.
Ruzafa
The market, the cafés and Fierro and La Salita (One MICHELIN Star each).
Shop in the Eixample by day, eat in Ruzafa at night.
Eating
Riff and Fraula hold One MICHELIN Star; Memoria Gustativa and 2 Estaciones a Bib Gourmand.
