After the Turia was diverted south of the city, its old bed became a garden about nine kilometres long, crossed by 18 bridges (Visit Valencia). It runs from the Parque de Cabecera and Bioparc, past the old town and the fine-arts museum, to the City of Arts and Sciences.
The gardens
The Parque de Cabecera, the Jardines del Real and Gulliver Park.
Beside the old town
The Torres de Serranos and the Museu de Belles Arts face each other across the garden.
Hire a Valenbisi bike and ride its length.
By bike
The garden is flat and traffic-free; Valenbisi stations are close by.
Our advice: avoid the midday sun in summer.
